Welcome to the Lana Hirth Dietitian clinic. We are a fully virtual nutrition clinic and private practice, based in Sydney Australia.
We help women, like you, to optimise your nutrition so that you can live life to the full.
We help you feel in control, save time in the kitchen and boost your energy levels. While there’s so many things you can worry about, we don’t want food to be one of those things for you.
Meet the team
Founder, Dietitian (APD) and Nutritionist
Certified Fertility, Prenatal and Postpartum Dietitian
Lana completed her Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours) from the University of Wollongong in 2017. She is a member of the Early Life Nutrition Alliance, and has presented as an expert dietitian for the Nutrition Therapy for Pregnancy course and in the Nutrition Management of the Interpartum Period to upskill dietitians.
Lana launched her virtual clinic after years working in multiple private clinics. She was determined to provide expert and empathetic care to women, in a way that way accessible and helped her clients live life to the full.
Her special interests are pregnancy, postpartum, interpartum (from birth to next pregnancy), fertility, breastfeeding, bariatric surgery and developing a health relationship with food.
Her personal interest in nutrition began when Lana saw the impact chronic health conditions was having on those she loved and was amazed to learn the difference nutrition can make. After becoming a mum of two, Lana learnt how quickly the time goes. She was determined to help women feel confident in feeding themselves and their families, to get that precious time and energy back, to live life to the full!
Dietitian (APD) and Nutritionist
Alessandra completed her Bachelor of Science and Master of Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Sydney in 2022. Although not related to women’s health, in 2022 Alessandra was selected to present her research at the International Spinal Cord Society Conference in Vancouver.
She is passionate about helping women optimise their nutrition and symptoms by managing both their reproductive and gut health. Her special interests are PCOS, Endometriosis and Coeliac Disease management, as well as infant and toddler nutrition.
Her personal interest in nutrition stems from her active lifestyle and after completing a full-time dance training course. Alessandra was always curious about the role of food in fuelling and nourishing her body to function and perform at her best.
She also grew up with food intolerances and experienced severe symptoms in my teen years, which led her to investigating them further. It was only until she worked closely with a dietitian to help provide relief and give her answers, that she knew this was what she was meant to do!
Who do we help?
Have you ever been told to just “eat healthy”? That can often feel confusing! You may be wanting to know WHAT you should actually eat when you’re trying to conceive, pregnant and postpartum. You may have no clue where to start. You may have tried a million times, feel like a failure, and that you need to get back on the bandwagon.
We get it. You can be exhausted and just want something quick and easy. You want to have the energy (and headspace!) to live your life to the full, but sometimes it feels hard to know where to start when it comes to your eating. Or how to do in a sustainable way in this new season of life. And how you do you know what’s best for you and your family?
This is where we help! We help women, just like you, to optimise their nutrition so that you can live life to the full – no crazy restriction or thinking about food 24/7. Healthy habits are always better.
Do you help men too?
Yes, we do! We often see partners or males just trying to improve their health as well.
